CareerSource North Florida’s Youth Services can help you find your first job, a new job or learn valuable workplace skills. We offer a variety of free services and resources designed to arm you with valuable occupational skills and workplace experience so you can succeed.  You will also connect with employers in the North Florida region.

Youth Services can also help you overcome problems which may be keeping you from completing your education and getting a job.

Youth services requirements

To be eligible for CareerSource North Florida Youth Services you must meet the following criteria:

Checkmark  16-24 years old

Checkmark  Currently not attending any school but may be attending GED classes

Checkmark  U.S. citizen or eligible to work in the U.S.

Checkmark  Registered with Selective Service (if a male)

Checkmark  Have one or more barriers to employment

Other eligibility criteria apply, however, they will be assessed at your initial appointment.  If you are interested in learning more about Youth Services, please complete the WIOA Youth form and a staff member will contact you within one business day.

New youth services participants

Youth Services accepts new participants throughout the year.  All youth enrolled in the program may participate in Work Experience in which youth are placed at local worksites after completing employability skills workshop. Youth may also receive cash incentives throughout the year for attending appointments, achieving goals, completing educational milestones and becoming employed.
